Sea Isle City, New Jersey, is a seaside community near the southern tip of the Jersey Shore. Known simply as Sea Isle to the locals, the city has two distinct personalities. By day, its paved promenade, five-mile stretch of white-sand beaches and charter fishing fleet make it a haven for families and retirees. After dark, the resort morphs into party central, when bars, lounges and restaurants attract the young adult crowd. For visitors who want to relax under the stars at night, the mainland town of Ocean View offers a number of campgrounds within eight miles of Sea Isle.
